About me
My passion for candles started as a simple hobby and quickly grew into a deep love for the art of candle-making. At Akimi Candles, it's all about quality, sustainability, and the magic that a fragrance and the act of lighting a candle can bring to our everyday lives.
Each candle is carefully hand-poured with love and dedication, using only high-quality soy wax and carefully selected fragrances. My goal is not only to create candles but to craft atmospheres—moments of calm, inspiration, and coziness.
"Akimi," which translates to "Sparkling Beauty," reflects my philosophy. I want to create candles that enchant you with their sparkling beauty and bring warmth and elegance into your home with every light.
In my professional life, I work full-time for an NGO, while in my spare time, I manage Akimi Candles. I also enjoy cozy evenings at home, spending time with friends and family. I love to cook, I'm a nature enthusiast, and I enjoy deep talks late into the night. My partner and I share our home with our two cats, Ryu and Yua. Additionally, I am involved with «Savethedogsbih,» supporting street dogs in Bosnia. Animals hold a special place in my heart, which is why I only use vegan and cruelty-free ingredients in my candles.
Feel free to explore my shop or visit me on Instagram @akimi.candles, discover your favorite candle, and let's create a world of sensuality and relaxation together.
Thank you for being part of the Akimi Candles family!
